As an alumni of UOW it is an honour to share a Wayapa Wuurrk workshop working with UOW School of Medicine Indigenous Trauma Recovery team.

As part of the collaborative process, Jaz will be hosting sessions across the Shoalhaven for the community to get involved. Sessions are in July at the following times:

Wednesday 17 July, 10 am - 12 pm at Shoalhaven City Council - Osprey Training Room for the Council Staff.

The finished artwork will go into Council’s art collection, with photography of the artwork and its design elements used throughout the RAP.

The Gili Gali (Dancing Light) Exhibition lights up the night with mesmerising projection of animated contemporary Indigenous art. This vibrant showcase is designed to feature the works of our incredible local Indigenous artist in a combines celebration of NAIDOC Week 2024 & Kiama Winter Festival 2024. Curated by local Wiradjuri woman Kearna Kemister, in collaboration with the Coomaditchie and Gumaraa teams, the exhibition presented creations by Dunghutti woman Allison Day, Dharawal woman Jaz Corr, Yuin Gunai Kurnai woman Lorraine Brown and Narelle Thomas, and Yuin man Richard Campbell.

As part of the collaborative process, Jaz will be hosting sessions across the Shoalhaven for the community to get involved. Sessions are in the winter school holidays at the following times:

Saturday 13 July, 10 am – 3 pm, at the Ulladulla Civic Centre as part of NAIDOC Day celebrations.

The finished artwork will go into Council’s art collection, with photography of the artwork and its design elements used throughout the RAP.
